Taylor Ford mentions in her Tech Tray Table review – “It is not very stable. If you’re sitting on the floor, and not moving it, it works well, but even the slightest movement will cause it to collapse. It’s a bit small if you have anything other than a 13 – 15” laptop.

Another user, Jacob Leonard says in his Tech Tray Table review – “The legs don’t lock so, if you accidentally tap, nudge or push the tray it collapses and everything spills onto the bed or floor.”

Matthew Casey used the Tech Tray Table and complains in his review – ” Though the table could fit up to an 18″ laptop, you would not be able to use the mouse pad as you will have to cover that up with the laptop or have it hanging over the edge. It is optimal for 15″ or smaller but not the best option for larger laptops.”

Bryan Murphy states in his Tech Tray Table review that the legs collapse easily if you happen to move it. Otherwise, it serves its purpose.

Garry Riley says in his Tech Tray Table review that the legs do not lock when set up.

Tech Tray Table Alternative – iMounTEK Multi-Functional Portable Laptop Table
There are numerous lap tables for computers available for people to choose from but the closest competitor to the Tech Tray Table is iMounTEK Multi-Functional Portable Laptop Table.

If you go through the reviews of the Tech Tray Table you will find most people saying how the table is designed for small laptops, and also the legs of the table fold with the slightest movement dropping your laptop and if you have your drink placed in the cup holder then you are in for a mess.

With features including a cooling fan, desk light, adjustable stand, and independent trays, the iMounTEK Multi-Functional Portable Laptop Tables seems to be a better choice than the Tech Tray Table.
