Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender Review

The Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender worked okay at first, however after 1 month the elastic band was torn out from use and then it started to leak and worked less efficiently.

Had a better opinion about the Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender until it started to smoke and quit working after 3 weeks of use.

Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender is a total disappointment, noisy, and after a couple months of use it starts to leak no matter how much you tighten it. Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender makes a horrible mess, also the drinking caps screw on to the inside of the blender container which would not have been so bad if you didn’t have to wipe off the edge every time so as not to make a mess. (This is because the blade part screws onto the outside).

The blade does not fit on it easily, it is too large for your hands to twist on or the threads are slightly warped. When activated it sprays the contents all over the kitchen. Making a 5 minute smoothie with the Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender becomes a cleaning nightmare! If you get it on tight enough not to leak, you cannot get the blades off after it is done. Also the blade portion has a deep crevice where the rubber gasket fits inside is impossible to clean and becomes mouldy.

Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender leaks. It doesn’t seem to crush ice cubes well at all. The gasket leaks unless you tighten it till your hand hurts.

The vibrations loosen the screwed on part to the gasket, hence too much torque is required.

The materials used for the switch tabs, on both the cups and motor, are made of plastic. During heavy blending, these tabs vibrate against each other and cause them to heat up and melt. As a result, the switches no longer work, leaving the Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender useless.

Have been using the Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender to make an average of 2 smoothies a day but started smoking and died. Even with constant use, something this powerful shouldn’t have died so soon.

Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender started spewing out from the base about the second or third time of using it.

The blade goes very fast and if there are no liquids, all of the ingredients can get stuck at the top. There is also no option of speeds. Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender is very difficult to clean.

Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender needs an off/on switch. Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender doesn’t quite blend everything as smoothly as you would like. Even the greens are left a little large after blending them.

Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender can’t crush blackberry seeds, the lid to drink out of the cups comes with such an awkward shape that the juice or smoothie doesn’t go into your mouth but around which makes it completely useless.

Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender is very loud. The cup lids and blender lids are easy to cross-thread and require some care when attaching.

Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender user reviews assert that the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender worked great for about 4 months, then the motor completely burned out (just as warranty was up) and then all smoothies turn out as chunky smoothies although the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender was used everyday, kept clean, and without overloading the cup with too much hard material vs. liquid.

The cup cracked and liquid started to leak out. Also replaced that by purchasing a new cup but after sometime the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender completely stopped working!

Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender worked great for 5 months and then broke and became dangerous as the motor did not stop when trying to disengage the cup. The plug had to be pulled out of the wall to get the blade to stop spinning.

Used the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender every morning for spinach orange juice smoothie and then one morning the cup part got stuck inside the base and then getting it apart was impossible. Had to throw away the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender with the drink still in there. The size of the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender is too big for small hands as it is always hard to unscrew the cup from the blades.

Opened the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender package to test it but the blender was dirty. The outside and inside of the electronic had obviously not been cleaned, with dried food still on the outside. It was gross, and still has some residue on it after a thorough clean.

The only thing is that sometimes the grooves on the side get stuck and it’s hard to take out. Used the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender a few times a week for smoothies and smoothie bowls and it works great. Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender just should have been made a little more powerful.

Received the Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender box crunched in the corners a little bit and the actual blender base had obvious water stains on it.

The Livingwell Montel 600W Personal Blender over heats too quickly. Also, one of the plastic pins on cup broke off after getting stuck in the blender and could no longer be used, so had to replace that shortly after purchasing the blender.

There was some weird, black leakage coming out the underside of the blades which has made cleaning the base unit a hassle. You can’t really clean inside the base where the blades fit well, and you also can’t submerge the base in water to try cleaning it that way.

Have used the Livingwell Montel 1000W Personal Blender mostly with liquids-thick and thin-frozen fruit , ice cubes to make smoothies and to make sauces and gravies.

It seals fine. Don’t fill it to the brim, 3/4th would be good. There is no access to the motor even when you fill it too much. Just rinse. The most important key is not to fill anything above the full line period because if you do, you will extract more than the cup can hold and cause it to leak out.

I’m having problems with liquid leaking into the motor base while blending. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?
In order to avoid leakage or clogging the blade assembly, do not fill the Blender Cup above the maximum capacity.
