Review: Simply Fit Board vs Twisty Board vs Duck Walker

Simply Fit Board

Noticed a substantial improvement with my balance using the Simply Fit Board. It’s a great cardio workout, even in short bursts, and lots of fun. Absolutely not a scam!

You need to be perfectly balanced on it to keep it from walking. Sometimes leaning the board back a bit helps. It just takes time to get to that point.

Be careful. Keep knees bent a bit and do not swing too much to the sides. It is definitely not worth it. Didn’t the company tell people about the possibility of scratched floors, and the possibility of breakage?

Feeling positive to use this board and see some weight loss!
Strongly recommend using a bath mat with rubber backing. Never use the board without protecting carpets or bare floors. The color of the board will bleed into your rugs!

Proper foot placement and twisting at the waist is critical to minimize knee and back pain if you are prone to that. With sciatic problems, it is not making things worse.

It cracked in the middle very fast something does not work technologically. Be careful on tile floors because it really moves fast. Do it on carpet and it is harder to use. Start out by holding onto something.

If you use it on hardwoods or vinyl, you’ll have wear problems. It is much cheaper to replace a small throw rug than carpet or other flooring. Don’t think anyone is going to have a huge, weight loss story from using this board.

Twisty Board

Twisty Board cracked on second use. This board flex almost flat even with small children.

If you are a heavy person it will not twist and work your body.
Twisty Board is super slippery on wooden floors. If you want to twist your torso and be in full control of your movement and intensity of the workout, the Twisty Board will only make you spin 360 degrees instead of twisting your torso left and right. Do not recommend this for children and do not recommend leaving this at a same space where your pets play. If your dog jumps onto one end of this board, the other end of the board will hit the dog. This board is very heavy and hard. Just be careful.

Twisty Board is way trickier than it looks on the video. Better hold on till you get used to it.

It really doesn’t feel like it targets anything but the quads. The Twisty Board is just the latest Shake Weight fad. It makes the exercise more dangerous.

Hard to keep it from sliding all over the place! Don’t feel any burn. It slides all over the place, needs to stay in place.
Tried it on a yoga mat but it moves around the floor too much. It does not have an exercise chart.

Duck Walker

The bottom is not well rounded and when you level out the board you will be standing straight instead of teetering one way or another to balance.

Duck Walker is a flimsy product not all that great. Cannot duck walk with this (on carpet) as advertised. The foot pads are too far apart for a young child. Tried to use it with good soled slippers and it hurts the bottom of the feet.

Duck Walker is impossible to walk with. It comes with no instructions. It is okay for a person who doesn’t weigh very much.

The foot end is narrow and your whole foot does not fit on it causing pain after a short time. Duck Walker is a cheap and ineffective balance board. Not worth the money.

Kids found them very difficult to walk with, hence they quickly lost interest. It slips too much on smooth surfaces and does not move at all on carpet. It’s great if you’re just using it for balancing purposes.

Kids would love these, but they rarely get used. You have to take fairly small “steps” with them and so it’s frustrating when you don’t go far with lots of effort.
