What is Balloon Bonanza

The TV commercial claims that it is a cylinder like accessory that lets you fill water balloons quickly and easily. It asserts that you can get as many as 40 balloons at once and they will be automatically sealed. It guarantees to prevent water spills and hurting fingers trying to tie the balloons.

Heaps of water balloons quick and easy

Balloon Bonanza asserts that it is super quick and easy to make tons of water balloons for the entire family. Balloon Bonanza states that you can say goodbye to the traditional painful ways to make water balloons. Traditional methods cause a lot of water to spill and tying the knots is super painful. But Balloon Bonanza promises to eliminate both these scenarios. Balloon Bonanza claims that you can fill 40 water balloons at the same time instead of boring one balloon at a time. You will allegedly get heaps of balloons with Balloon Bonanza and that too amazingly fast so that you do not have to stop between your balloon fight to refill your stash. All you are assured to need to do is attach the Balloon Bonanza to any regular water hose, turn the water on and see the balloons swell up with water. The water balloons from Balloon Bonanza are assured to be all perfectly sized and shaped. What’s more, Balloon Bonanza convinces that it even seals the water balloons while they drop into your bucket. So you are alleged to save a lot of time making balloons for your kids using Balloon Bonanza. If your kids blow up the balloons themselves, then Balloon Bonanza also assures to give them more time to play rather than spend time blowing them.

40 perfectly sized and sealed balloon at once

Balloon Bonanza states to have a rapid cylinder system that quickly fills up 40 balloons at once. The aqua sealing technology of Balloon Bonanza proclaims to tie them up as they slide down into the bucket. With this, Balloon Bonanza guarantees that you wouldn’t have to sit for hours working the hose on each and every balloon. Balloon Bonanza also emphasizes that you do not have to keep twisting your fingers to tie them up. Balloon Bonanza proclaims that the water balloons will be tied really tight so they won’t open up and decrease in number. Balloon Bonanza declares that since the water goes straight into the balloon from the tube, you do not have to be soaked all over with water spills.

For hours of fun

Whether you want to play a challenging game of catch with your friends or fight a duel with family, Balloon Bonanza asserts to let you play it all. Balloon Bonanza proclaims that you can ambush your dad after his morning workout or surprise a visiting friend with a prank. Balloon Bonanza assures that is comes all readily assembled so you won’t spend time putting it together. Balloon Bonanza promises to be so compact that it will fight right into your pocket or bag. So, you can take the water balloon party anywhere with Balloon Bonanza as its creators allege. Balloon Bonanza states that you can even take it when you visit your grandparents. Balloon Bonanza convinces that it’s great for play dates and let your kids make friends easily if you are new in the neighborhood.

Balloon Bonanza REVIEW

Balloon Bonanza is truly a unique fun gadget in the “as seen on tv” section. There is no other product in this segment that matches the Balloon Bonanza. There are a few things you need to consider before buying the Balloon Bonanza – first get this clear that if one of the the balloons pop before all are done than the rest of them won’t be filled with water – that is one of the drawbacks of the Balloon Bonanza as reported by one user.

Another user points out in his review that Balloon Bonanza is not available in the stores and it is a major drawback. You have to order it from the unreliable as seen on tv website and go through the rigmarole of unreliable ordering process, backorder, returns, overcharges, upsells etc.

The waiting period of 3 to 6 weeks is just too much and then there is no guarantee it will be delivered even after that.

Jesse in her review claims that it his highly unprofessional on the manufacturer’s part to miss on some very important information like the material used in Balloon Bonanza, where is it made, safety hazards, is it biodegradable. Jesse says the whole thing make it look like a scam and says she won’t buy it online. She might buy it if it sold at Amazon.com or Bath Bed and Beyond.

Is it reusable?
The Official website: BuyBalloonBonanza.com claims they are reusable.

Should you buy it?
Balloon Bonanza is not a too bad product. But we know one product that works even better than the Balloon Bonanza – Bunch O Balloons. And we recommend buying it instead of Balloon Bonanza. It is available at Amazon.com for just $20 and you can return them hassle-free if you don’t like them. Here is a comparison of Balloon Bonanza and Bunch O Balloons.

  1. Balloon Bonanza Or Bust

As summer comes to an end, I already begin to think about next summer. I think about how I spent my summer days laying at the pool and all the fun I had and what I will do next summer and what I won’t. I won’t buy a particular product next summer, Balloon Bonanza. I read recent reviews on this product prior to purchasing it. The majority of these reviews were positive, and the reviewers gave this product on average three stars out of five stars. There’s three main criteria I’m basing my review off including: Price, quality, and how it compared to its competitors.

Balloon Bonanza is a water balloon filling device that fills 40 balloons at once. These balloons separate themselves from the average day water balloons on the market, because they automatically tie themselves when they reach their full capacity with water. Each pack comes with three separate nozzles (red, blue, and yellow) which gives you a total of 120 water balloons.

I purchased this product on May 3rd, 2016 from Toys R Us. I purchased them from here, because this product is sold in limited locations. The closest Toys R Us was the Englewood location which is about half an hour with no traffic from my house which is not convenient. It cost $19.00 including tax. This price was expensive for water balloons considering they only last a few minutes. I purchased these anyways due to the fact they “self tie” which is a necessity for me, because I can’t tie a water balloon.

I first started filling the blue colored water balloons first. Within seconds the water balloons were “full” and falling off. This would of been great, but they weren’t nearly full enough. Some of the balloons were the size of a grape. I looked in my container of balloons, and realised within five minutes of inflation there was nine deflated balloons . I began filling the yellow balloons, and similar the blue ones, they didn’t fill up to their capacity.I even had two that already had a hole in them prior to even filling them up. Three yellow balloons were completely deflated within a few minutes. All I had left was the red pack left to inflate. These were bigger than the others. These balloons were around the size of my palm which still isn’t great, but it was definitely better than the ones that were the size of a grape. As usual, three popped within a minute. I took out all the popped, and deflated water balloons out of my bucket they were held in. I had 82 out of the 120 that were still full. That may sound terrific, but it wasn’t considering most of them were tiny and useless.

I threw a water balloon granted it was on the small side, but most of them were. What happened? Nothing. It simply bounced off and rolled around on the ground. After a few failed attempts at trying to get them to break I decided to try one of my few bigger ones. I threw it, and it also did absolutely nothing. It also bounced right off and rolled around on the ground.

As usual, products make the exact same product as others on the market just with a different name. That is the case also with this product. There’s Battle Balloon and Bunch-O-Balloon. These products are the same concept, which is 40 tiny straws with water balloons attached to the end of it. Both of these products also tie themselves. The Battle Balloon and Bunch-O-Balloon both got four and a half stars out of five. These products didn’t receive many unhappy reviews. Balloon Bonanza got three stars out of five. Balloon Bonanza is strictly sold at Toys R Us and online. Bunch-O-Balloons is sold at Walmart, Target, and Party City. Balloon Bonanza was $19.00 when I purchased it. Battle Balloon is $9.99 and Bunch-O-Balloon is $7.88. That is quite a price difference to me especially for a product with less stars than the other two products.

Granted, not having to tie 120 water balloons did make it a tiny bit more enjoyable. This product is definitely not on my favorites list.Between the cost, quality, and how it compares to its competitors it seems like a struggling product. I would not recommend any of my friends or family buy Balloon Bonanza. I would also give this product two stars out of five. I gave it two stars rather than one because I didn’t have to tie a single water balloon that afternoon which was a good thing and just about the only good thing about this product.

  2. The official website says the product is NOT reusable but “conveniently” priced so you can keep buying them.

  3. Bought this product foa family fun day a MISTAKE some didnt fill others didnt burst when thrown. Got baloon from the dollar tree had a fun time. Will berequesting a full refund. DO NOT IREPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT SAVE YOURSELF 13.00 DOLLARS

  4. Horrible product. We also bought from Bed Bath and Beyond and will be returning them today. They leaked out water while filling them and only filled up to about 3 inches wide and most of them didn’t fill up just fell off the stick.. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

  5. This is a waste of money. Hey lets fill water balloons and then throw our money away..

  6. Bought it at Walmart 2 for $12, kids had a blast. Ones that didn’t fill completely, just rolled them back on. It was well worth the buy.

  7. Nicole Robinson | July 2, 2015 at 12:34 pm | Reply

purchashed this product from Walmart for only 9.00 and had tons of fun with the kids. I did notice that if the balloons are now laying on a surface they will detach early and as a result the balloons will have less water in them. Well worth the money.

  8. Awful! $12 down the drain, biggest waste of money. Half the balloons didn’t fill and in the space of 30 mins while my daughters friends were arriving, all but 6 had leaked all the water. So $2 a water balloon!

  9. these are NOT worth it. I bought these, they looked like they would be a time saver and a lot of fun. These do not fill very big, very small actually….and a few minutes after they are filled, more than half of them were already flat with the water in the tub.It was a waste of money and water! They did fill fast and seal themselves, but they fall off too soon so they are small, and they do not seal very well, they leak. waste of money. Will not buy again.

    • also, I did try to reuse some and refill them again after the water leaked out, and they would not refill.

  10. DO NOT BUY THEM!!!! IT IS A RIP OFF. THEY BLEW UP TO BE ABOUT 2 INCHES BIG AND FELL OFF THE THING. WE HAD 4 MINUTES AND THEY WERE LEAKING WATER SO BAD IN THE BUCKET THEY WENT FLAT. I TOOK PICS. BOUGHT $85.00 WORTH OF THEM FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND. AND WILL BE RETURNING THEM TODAY!!!

  11. They sell the shit at walmart. Screw the website, it can goto hell

  12. The balloons only get about 2 and a half inches in diameter. Therefore the ballon rubber does not stretch out and the balloons are hard to pop once you throw them. I tried having a balloon fight with my daughter and I would have to throw the balloons at the ground for them to pop.

Shipping takes too long and even the expedite shipping took over a week. Also out of the 40 balloons connected, there’s always a few duds that don’t fill up so in reality you get about 35. I would just stick to the traditional way of doing balloons.

    • Bought it at Walmart 2 for $12, kids had a blast. Ones that didn’t fill completely, just rolled them back on. It was well worth the buy.

  13. I bought this product at Walmart for cheaper then advertised on TV

  14. I bought these, and they are super great. They come with these little rubber rings that go over the balloon after it is put on the “straw” you can get a pack of 100 balloons for 99 cents after you have used the balloons that come with the product. You do have to go around your yard and collect the broken balloons in order to get the plastic rings back, but hey, you’re going to do that anyways right? It takes me about 10 minutes to re apply balloons and rings to a set of 40 of them, very simple. I WOULD recommend these

  15. I bought this yesterday at Walmart for $9.99 haven’t tried it yet but it’s worth ten bucks to me to see if it works or not . The only thing j wonder about is that the instructions don’t say anything about it being reusable or how to put the balloons back on , it came with 3 each has 40 balloons on it .

  16. I found the kit at Walmart for $9.88 and my kids had a ball. They go quickly, but the product works. I also bought some tiny hair rubber bands and attached water balloons to the “Bonanza” and we are able to use it over and over again. It takes some time to refill them, but filling up 4 water balloons in a few seconds is worth it for us.

  17. I went to their website and it says specifically they are not reusable, so I’m. It sure where you were looking.

  18. This product is available at walgreens…I determined to find a way to reuse this device…it beets tying!

  19. It is NOT reusable!

  20. I bought them at Bed Bath and Beyond for $12.99 with a 20% off coupon. I got three sets in one box….so 120 balloons. They work great, however each set is for one time use only. I had bought additional self tieing balloons but they don’t work. So you are paying $12.99 for 120 water balloons basically. No reloading.

  21. YOU CAN BUY THEM AT TOYS R US

  22. Bed, Bath, and Beyond has them for 12.99 and you can pick them up in the store!

  23. after you fill up the 40 ballons, can u put more water balloons on it to make another 40?

  24. I would not bother ordering this product. I placed an order after seeing numerous ads fro my 4 yr old birthday party. It doesn’t really matter if it works. I have called the marketer of the balloons numerous times to check the status. Despite paying extra for priority shipping- my order has not shipped despite placing it weeks ago. I wouldn’t know it was on back order had I not called numerous times. Each time I’m given false hope. I doubt I will get this order in time for summer. Save your money and the frustration- Don’t order this product.

  25. I bought this over a week ago and paid $5.99 for shipping plus an extra $9.99 for 3-5 day priority. I did not receive my order yet and checked the status online and it is now on backorder. Very misleading and poor service to promise 3-5 days and not notify the customer of any backorder status until after the product is expected to arrive. Now being told 3-6 weeks. Which is a major inconvenience since the product was ordered for. My son’s birthday party. The item is reusable according to customer service and extra balloons are not sold by the company. You have to order thru retail… if you can find anyone who sells the special kind. You can only purchase the whole system thru the company.

It better be worth the wait. Summers going to be over by the time it gets here.

    Very dissatisfied.

  27. Review , what review? You sound like the commercial and basically repeated the same thing from one paragraph to the next , go back to school and learn what it means to review a product.

  28. The original idea was called bunch o balloons. It was an idea a father had while doing balloons for his kids. He had to find people to back his product and got the funding himself and started selling them on amazon. The one on the tv commercial is the product of some big company seeing someone else’s brain child and creating their own version when the copyright allowed for it. They are a big company so they can afford the advertising and to do the deals they have so you will buy their product instead of the original on amazon. They can be reused if you can figure out how to replicate the process of applying the rubberbands.

  29. I’m a little confused that at the end of this you recommend bunch o balloons. Balloon Bonanza started as bunch o balloons. Same founder & he just upgraded the product.

  30. Heads up: According to another website, the inventor of Balloon Bonanza who invented this product was formerly called Bunch O Balloons that sold on Amazon. Don’t know what this mean. By the way, I did not see any review on your part.

  31. Emilie,
Read Joe’s comment he purchased them. They are a ONE TIME deal! There is no refill, so once you use them that is it, you have to order them again for another $20.

  32. What about more balloons???

  33. Thx! But is it reusable? Can you buy additional balloons and use it again? Or is it a one time deal?

  34. Dennis Thornton | April 16, 2015 at 12:54 am | Reply

I would not order from the web site, it is not secure (there is no SSL) so your credit card information is passing clear text over the internet.

They say they use SSL, but the address in the URL is HTTP and NOT HTTPS

  35. Can you take the rubber band off??

  36. There are no refills. I have tried them, they work OK. The ballons are held shut by rubber bands. If they start popping off before all are done then the water pressure will not fill the rest, seems to be about 3-5. It does work, but very pricy IMHO.

  37. They copied and pasted right from there web site. This site is no good.

  38. Do you have to order more balloons from the commercial or can you get them from the store

  39. This was not helpful at all. Did not tell me if this is worth the buy or not!

    • How nice of them to make us READ the entire commercial just to leave us STILL wondering if it’s worth 14.99 + 15.99 S&H!!!! Anyhow 30 and some change on water balloons is ridiculous but if it was PROVEN to be good with cheap refills I could see the benefits outweighing the cost. But still then I kinda feel foolish for considering the initial cost haha

      • Its actually $5.99 s&h not $15.99. Its a little difficult to tell. I had to really look but the $ sign looks like a 1.

        • It is 5.99 for each. By throwing in 2 free ones, you have to pay the 5.99 three times ($17.97)

          • I purchased this three weeks ago and although I still don’t have my order it was only a one time charge of 5.99.

They are trying to SELL the product -so they are not going to tell the cons of it -only the pros.I would do a search review -for customers that have purchased this product and what they experienced.
